My sincere apologies, I do not mean to get anyone a $20 ticket.

While there is a meter box on the North side of the lot, I never did pay in over 20 visits after 12 noon and I stayed for hours. Perhaps it is difficult for the meter maid to correlate these spots with the pay box as they don't have meters adjacent to them. I also spent many hours parked in this same area, in front of the old Backscatter offices when I'd go in to ask questions or buy photo gear.

In any case I do not want to suggest that anyone do anything illegal.

That being said, the center parking lot is still
1) a very convenient place to park between dive entrance, the showers, the dive shop, and the deli
2) parking after 12 noon usually opens up and is much easier to find than those close to the jetty walkway

Scott, you are trying to get someone a $20 ticket. It's not
free after noon.

There aren't any meters in the center of the lower lot at the
breakwater, but 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (I think those are the
hours) you still gotta pay. You feed coins, bills, or credit card
into a machine at the upper end of the lot. It issues a voucher
that MUST be visible on your dash. $8 for a single vehicle all
day, $12 for tow vehicle and trailer.

Tow vehicle with boat trailers only midnight to noon.
