Scott,

We spent ten days diving all around Bali--you're in for a treat. It's really inexpensive but you get a terrific value for the money. Tourism hasn't rebounded at all since the bombing and most places are at least half-empty.Shore dive Tulamben (don't forget booties--very sharp rock shoreline)for the Liberty Ship Wreck and ton's of tiny rare stuff in the sand, boat dive Nusa Lembongan(Off the South shore) and Nusa Menjangan (NW Shore)for bigger stuff like mantas, sharks and possibly Mola-molas. Skip Kuta Beach--the most persistent touts I've ever experienced + there's a starbucks. Leave time for a few days in Ubud, hanging out is an art form here.Lovina a great low-key place on the North Coast. You'll love the Balinese people and really can't go wrong with a trip.

Have a blast!

Tim
