I've only taken the big boats (Great Escape, Aquatica) over there. In fact I haven't even been there on land. Is the drive over there pretty straightforward on flat days? I think I might try it without scuba gear and just freedive for yellowtail and whites.

MBT: was your Achilles a RIB or just a regular inflatable?

Also, same question with Anacapa, is that a easy ride over?

Finally, where's the info on guys driving to Catalina on jetskis? Seems like a fast way to get there to do some freediving or maybe even 1 tank.
