I used them several times with scuba gear or kayaks heading out to Anacapa. There was an extra charge for kayaks (about $6 or so, back 4 years ago). It was a good operation. I think you can also rent kayaks there and have them taken over, but I'm not sure.

Make sure to take water to Anacapa - no fresh water on the island.
