that is why I buy my license on December 30th for the comming year. Might as well hunt the last 3 months of the season and the first 3 months of the next season on the same license.

No about hunting without a license and giving them away. DFG does have SCUBA divers on their staff and they do, from time to time get wet, particularly on opening night, or so I am told. I have seen DFG divers go over the side to check under a dive boat on opening night about 5 minutes before the season started. There was a whold bunch of divers who suited up about 10:00 p.m. that night and several citations were issued.
