What a rare and yucky thing to get. You might be down for a while. Keeping your morale up is going to be important.

Stuff to do while you are recooperating:
1. Watch movies
2. Read every post on the BBS 5 times
3. When you feel up to it, get somebody to stuff you into a wheelchair and visit the Aquarium of the Pacific. Spend a lot of time at the touch tanks.
4. See if you qualify for temporary handicap parking and actually use spaces.


It isn't much, but your post makes me want to do something to make you feel better.
