We went to cortez banks friday on the Rapture for a day of spearfishing. When we arrived Brad was there on the Love-of-sea. We said hi and went on our way to the tuna spot. Ther was only one sighting of tuna...blue fin. We saw yellowtail all day long. Del shot one 40 lbs and Naoki got one 35 lbs. I eventualy shot and landed a smaller one. While I had it in my hands ready to put on my stringer I felt it yanked violently out of my grip. I looked up expecting to see one of my buddies goofing around. Instead I saw a seal swimming off with it in its' mouth. Oh well...we went to Catalina to anchor for the night and dove opening day of bug season. We found what we were looking for and went home happy.....Mel
