I remember when our beaches were covered with oil and tar, before we really started to take oil out. Now it is much better. Responsible use of natural resources makes sense. Drilling is not some evil thing, it can be very beneficial to our environment and if it makes our country and its economy stronger, the environment will be abel to take advantage of the wealth it helped generate.

We not only need to drill for our own oil, we need more refineries. New refineries woudl do more to reduce our fuel costs and almost anything else. Also the use of nuclear power would be of great benefit. I get so tired of phoney baloney people trying to act so sensitive by decrying technology and the responsible use of resources. These people actually do more harm than good. We need more nuc plants, more off shore drill rigs, and more refineries. Then the world will really be a better place for us and our children.
