Wayne,
You don't mention fuel conservation or alternative energy which should be the focus of future. The next generation shouldn't have to bear the costs and the pollution of the continued overuse and over reliance on oil as a primary energy source. There are wind power, solar power, bio-diesel, and methanol to consider. How is drilling beneficial to the environment? Why not spend that refinery and nuclear money on research for clean/safe energy alternatives?
