Although it was pretty flat there was NO to Almost No visibility. Most of our group aborted shortly after entry. I dropped to 14' but my buddies wouldn't come down and follow, so I brought them in and went on shore duty. Three others from our group stayed down about 15 min. but only one short lobster was seen. On the positive side, there was some awesome bioluminesence happening. The surface swim was a light show and the surf itself was glowing and flashing blue at the break. BTW: I tried the (blue) light stick in a water bottle trick to mark our entry point and it worked great. We could see distintive blue light all the way out at the kelp and it helped greatly on the exit.
