No they can't search your house without a warrant. Also you should tail the lobsters as soon as you are back on shore. The law says lobsters must be in whole condition while on a boat or brought ashore. That means they can be tailed at the dock and stored that way in your car and home. Takes less room in the cooler and no chance for them to write you a ticket.
