I'M BAAAAAAAACK!! |

First dive after 5 months of recovery from my Achilles heel surgery, SUNDIVER to Catalina. Nice weather, nice water, except for marginal viz. First time in 41 years of active diving I had to depend on an octopus: primary 2nd stage began flooding at 50 fsw, about to breathe only h2o. Switched to octo, unscrewed ScubaPro faceplate and found diaphragm loose. Carefully reseated it, screwed back the faceplate and corrected the problem. No way I could have done it without an octo. |
