I think part of it depends on how many hunters they have seen before you. During lobster season I notice that lobsters are much more shy about photographs than several months after lobster season. If I'm with a group of hunters - they head for cover as soon as they see me.

In places where hunting lobster is not permitted they have no fear of man.
