I hunt with HID lights. I find that I have no problem keeping a
lobster interested long enough for a grab. Sometimes, I think
that lobster act like the fabeled "deer in headlights" and freeze
when they see HID light lust long enough for them to be grabbed, I
find this especially true when they are out and about. If they are
in holes, after detecting them the light - HID or Halogen or even
LED - it shouldn't matter.
