Anyone have info? - posted by postit on October 24, 2005 at 12:06:05: From the Ventura County Star dateline 10/24/05; An unidentified diver was flown to St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo Sunday, after a diving accident off Santa Rosa Island, a Coast Guard official said. The incident took place around 11:15 a.m. when a man dove off of a vessel and resurfaced with a blue face, said Petty Officer Leslie Hearn. He was undergoing treatment in a hyperbaric chamber before being transferred to an intensive care unit, Hearn said. Coast Guard members responding to the call for help, put the man on oxygen. A helicopter carried him to the Camarillo Airport before he was taken to the hospital, Hearn said.
