I have come up with my limit on one dive at every island except San Clemente and San Miguel. Also off of PV and at Cortes Bank. However that is unusual.
I consider an average of 2 bugs/dive to be a very productive day of bug hunting. My last trip to Santa Cruz I got 5 on one dive, but seven for the day in six dives.
