Thanks for the comment! You are right that I have not figured out the weight for freedive. The 24lb is for the scuba, and need to be adjusted.

I have rented gears from sports chalet four times and am happy with my experience. I just want to see how much I can move forward toward self-independency. Free dive seems to offer some nice features, including less gear hustle, flexibility, movability.

As much as hunting for bugs, I am trying to figure out a path that seems to optimize the outcome, e.g., high quality, low cost. As found before many times, collecting the intelligence seem to be an important part of the process... and I am grateful for the willingness of people to share various ideas along the way.

Hunting is an interesting game....
