The core of the problem is that people do occasionally break the law. If they didn't do that, there would be no need for Fish and Game enforcement. I can see how when you get lucky and your hunting skills are just causing those lobsters to jump into your hands the feeling of personal accomplishment could cause you to just keep going. But you can't, the law says that you can't. I'd imagine that you could trade a shorter one in your bag for a longer one 20 yards away and get away with it, but you just can't have more than 7 in that bag or on your person in that 24 hour period. Don't break the law, it hurts, and it makes your friends feel bad for you too.

I don't think that the Sea Divers are getting picked on. The inspections have always been on a Friday when just there aren't a whole lot of boats out there to pick from so your odds go up.
