Hell, I rememeber when the Great Escape was the Charisma, and they would only pump to 2200 psi. They claimed that Coast Guard regs limited them to not pumping more than that....everyone else was pumping to 3000 psi...then the Peace was the first to my recollection and they were pumping to 3500 psi around 20 years ago....

My opinion is go with the greatest quantity of gas you can get filled on theŽboat.....if a boat only does 3000 psi, then go with a steel low pressure 120.....if they can do 3500, then go with a high pressure cylinder....small high pressure tanks are nicer to move about underwater with.....

I would recommend a DIN valve, it is primarily what they use in Europe....although not as durable from a drop your tank kind of perspective, it is a superior system to capture o-rings.
