I've seen Great Whites at Gaudelupe Island. I was on a fishing trip and at one time there were seven.... yes seven, around the boat. The largest, we estimated at 17 feet. HUGE!!! About the size of a Volvo station wagon without the wheels... and wipers too I suppose.

We fed caught a few fish and fed a few sharks, and I came to the conclusion that I don't want to meet one... of any size.
