Dear ESPN,
Having just viewed part of your show, Monster Shark Tournament on ESPN 2, I have to write that it is the cruelest, vilest, and most disgusting program I've seen in 40 years. How dare you show a group of sadistic yahoos high 5 each other while towing a 12' Tiger shark using gaff hooks, as it dies a cruel and pointless death? Sharks are already in deep trouble worldwide from over fishing practices... don't you read the newspapers? Where is the joy in watching a hung upside down, drenched in blood shark with its guts coming out of its mouth? I cannot express enough how revolting that show is... can't you do any better than organized sadism? I will think of the troglodytes celebrating the death of those beautiful animals for what? A trophy? Is that all life is worth? Why promote such cruelty? I used to like ESPN… now I think your network stinks worse than rotting shark carcasses.
