I ran into a lobster trap the other day that had its float about 7 feet underwater, and the line was that length, and it was too heavy to have been moved by a current...... I let the Captain know exactly where it was and he said they would be back tomorrow and they would "deal" with the trap...I think that must be dive boat captain-speak for "terminate it with extreme prejudice".
