Second Diver In Two Weeks To Die In Waters SAN DIEGO -- An autopsy is scheduled Monday on a scuba diver who died exploring off San Diego's coast. Richard Hart, 48, went out for a dive with two friends near South Casa Beach in La Jolla late Saturday night, but the conditions were rough, so he turned back, 10News reported. His friends found him later, unconscious, floating about 100 yards from shore. The death comes just one week after a 54-year-old Carlsbad man died while scuba diving off Sunset Cliffs and less than five months after a scuba instructor died while exploring a sunken battleship off Mission Beach.
