Pacific Wilderness in San Pedro is my favorite. They have been good to me, so I spend the little money I have there. I also recommend them to the people I dive with, even if they don't give DiveVets discounts. :-)))
They have a new and growing tech section, and everyone on the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about scuba in general and the gear they sell. You won't find anyone there who was transferred from the ski department to fill in.
They have fast turnaround time on repairs (except when Fred is on vacation) and also do hydros and tank cleaning onsite. No waiting for a week and a half to get your tank back. They pump air, nitrox and trimix.
