Temps were about 74 F degrees in Southern islands and about 79 F degrees in No. islands (Darwin & Wolf islands). We used our 7 mil suits and were comfortable - Florida divers with thinners suits were cold. Suz
I would say a 3mil is too thin for the Galapagos. 5 mil would be OK a little cool in So islands and just right for the Whale Shark diving @ Darwin. The closer you get to July/August the more plankton is in the water which hurts vis but increases Whale Shark (WS) sightings. In late June we had 50+ vis with 10 WS sightings. BadC
