Yeah, there is something about digital that bugs me too, compared to film. I'd describe it more as a harshness, but maybe you're describing the same visual effect I see, as flatness. For example, I'd hate to watch a full-length, live-action motion picture in a movie theater that was shot in an electronic medium - watching that for two hours would drive me crazy; there's a softness and warmth in celluloid that can't be duplicated.

Thanks for the kind words on the photos. And thanks for standing your ground with the jerk-off sockpuppets; imagine how empowered they would feel if they thought they had driven away wonderful contributors like yourself from this forum.
