So what do turkey and the Los Angeles County Underwater Instructor Certification Course have in common? Actually, not much but
Thanksgiving serves as a reminder of some important events.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and the Holiday season is about to
kick off. You all know what that means, right? January will be here before
you know it and UICC 53 starts on the 7th.

If you or a friend ever wanted to be an instructor or just improve your
confidence and skills, you can obtain the best training available.
Underwater Instructor Certification Course (UICC) is a 14 week long course,
and is recognized as the most prestigious recreational scuba diving
instructor certification course available.

The 53 UICC workshop will be held November 12, 2005 at Victoria Park Pool,
from 8am to 12pm. This will be a training workshop to help out candidates
with skills and pointers in preparation for the tryouts.

53 UICC tryouts will be held on December 3 and 4, 2005. December 3 will be
the pool session, held at Victoria Park Pool. December 4 will be a checkout
dive at Redondo Beach, Veteran's Park.

53 UICC will begin on January 7, 2006 at Victoria Park. Check back on

Bring full ocean gear for all pool and beach sessions, and be prepared to
enter the water.
