On the surface (literally), things in Cozumel certainly look fine, and all cleaned up.

I have to wonder what if any damage the reefs took, and what the recovery period will be for them.

I wonder the same about the Caymans as well.

In the meantime, Baja seems like a perfect place to go diving in Mexico for awhile anyway. Going there in December myself.

Any of you going to Cozumel or Caymans, please take some photos underwater and bring them back with you, if you will.

BTW, the "spam blocker" here really stinks. It prevents many normal replies to posted messages. The error message usually given is a time-out message. I am guessing that someone else tried previously to post a message, and tried to write a book, and the time-out feature has kicked in for all subsequent posts.
