Yes, the cabezon did chomp down on Rusty's nose. The reason that I know is that it was the first thing that he told me (I'm his wife) upon his return home from that memorable dive. He told me that it hurt, too. No mask punctures that I know of in the process, but you'd have to ask him for the whole "fish story." :)
