I think you are right, what I did was type in my zip and find the top that where close to my house. I've been diving here in LA for about 8 years and saw a few I didn't recognize either (called to verify they were actually a dive shop :)

I've been to most myself, but had not heard of K, L myself, and I always thought I had bought SOMETHING from every shop in the area.
