Wow, interesting place. I want to go. I wish I could have made it today but on the sleep, eat, dive triangle - sleep was in the priority spot.

Yesterday we saw brown, turning to green, water and lots of jellies much of the way to Catalina. The water was a little more blue at Catalina. Vis at Catalina was good at Bird Rock - really good past 80 feet. OK at the Rock Quarry, and excellent shallow for the night dives at Rippers. I would have guessed better vis for the coastline deeps than what you got.

I can't wait to get my photos back from yesterday. The night dives were incredible critter wise. One of the best night dives I've done in a long time. I forgot how much fun night diving is and how a whole new world comes out.If I could have talked Dave into leaving me with a few tanks at Rippers and picking me up in the morning I would have done it.
