HOWEVER: steel tanks are supposed to be stored on their sides
so if they do get salt water in them, it gets spread out, and
in different places each time the tank gets moved, as opposed to
the low spot at the bottom of the tank.

A good hint. I am always wire brushing the inside of my HP tanks to remove "the measles" from "boat fills."
