i see them in Alimitos Bay. they are really playful creatures. i have seen them chasing one another and actually playing hide and seek. i once saw two chasing one another...one of them stopped and stuck himself (her?) against a vertical wall... once the pursure has swam by, he lept off the wall and tagged the opponent and the chase was on! If we could only identify the nuanced interaction during the breeding ritual, i have no doubt that the discovery would be utterly fascinating!

thanks for the pictures Elaine, they are one of the more sweet and cudly creatures in OUR waters~
