I don't freedive, but I've got a friend who's on the US National
Freediving team. He can freedive as deep as I'll go on SCUBA.

From talking to him, it's a head game. You sort of zen out and
don't do anything you don't need to do.

And watch out for shallow water blackout. We loose more ab divers
up here than SCUBA divers most years.
