In the Kurile Is., they eat the tochni nud, Tochuina tetraquerta. Tochni is
occasional in Monterey -- I see one about every 5-10 dives on
the deep shale. Beherens says they occur as far south as Malibu.
The ones in Monterey are a deep yellow than the picture in Beherens,
and at the small end of the size range.
