Bait (of any kind) is handled very gently so it stays alive. The main net won't be drown too tight, and they will brail it out in smaller hand-held nets that won't get too full. Stuff being caught for food gets handled rough, nets get drawn tight, the fish or squid come on in big enough scoops that the stuff on the bottom is crushed. |
