Had a nice dive at escondido creek today. 57 degrees and 15-20 ft vis. Dolphins swimming about 25 feet from me, about 10 short lobsters stayed in their dens and there were octopi in holes everywhere.
Dive 2 was in Malibu but vis was 1-10 depending on where we were but it was low tide and lots of surge. Disappointing after the first dive today. Time to retire the wetsuit and stick to drysuit now. Even with hotpacks in my wetsuit I was COLD!
My lobster bag went home empty. RATS!!
