Was down there in Aug and dove from Loretto to La Paz for 4 days, with all but 1 dive spectacular. Id say hit up El Bajo (close to La Paz, GPS on boat said it was ~10 miles off of island but it was actually ~15) saw a hammer head, dove and snorkled with a whale shark for about an hour that acted more like a puppy than a fish. Also try to hit up Las Animas, had 4 great dives off this island.
