Actually, The USA terratorial limit is well past San Nicolas Island. The state jurisdiction for fisheries is also well past San Nic. But, to the topic at hand. The USA and California export many of our natural resources; lumber, coal, metals, grains, cattle, etc. and, yes, fish. Apparently, your idea is to not export any of our resources and keep em all for ourselves "The extraction of fish from state waters should be limited to what the RESIDENTS consume anually---- PERIOD!". Ok, lets go with the 'Brad Plan'. After all, whats good for the goose... First, lets stop importing any oil. Lets look at the Brad Plans impact. Turn off your electricity and start using candles, park your car and start walking, no more wetsuits-after all the neoprene is made in Japan with, you guessed it Brad, imported oil. BTW- the oil the USA produces is about half of what we need, so the impact would be exponentially felt. In short, we go back to the Brad Plans cave dwelling plan. |
