My chick and I use them when we dive together,she's still new to the sport and I'm kinda a saftey nut so I make her use it for now so she never gets lost from me or somthing unexpected comes up like no a failure of some sort or she gets stuck in something.

If you use them in a buddy team they work really well (as in don't get too far away from each other )
Plus if your on the surfface they work OK too.
