I also want to explain I don't like drysuits, but I usually bug dive locally or dive in the tropics with a spring suit.

On the one trip where the water was below 50F, which was the last day of bug season 2004 on the Pac Star, I had a dry suit, limited out (Thanks Dave), and was darn gald I had a drysuit.

Drysuits have their place no doubt. Anything below 55 F is drysuit weather in my opinion, lobster be damned. I just had to sell my DUI to buy some bugs at costco on the way home after my 12 bugs got lost on the opener this last year. Who grabbed my bugs anyway?
