I went for a little boat ride yesterday morning just for the hell of it. The swells were really far apart so it was no big deal. Even in close, the water was blue and beautiful. I was over near the FS Loop and could see 30 or 40 ft down the lobster trap lines! I'm almost positive that the bottom 10-20 ft only have 1-2 ft vis because the long duration swell always seems to agitate the bottom, but it was sooooo pretty up shallow.

We need more dive sites with lots of vertical relief that we can still dive in these conditions! It's a bummer that the rigs don't like private boats diving them as they're probably the ideal local spot for these conditions.
