Interesting, I went through Singapore not to long ago and had now problem with my knife in my checked dive gear bag.

But, I don't use one of those Mike Nelson specials that weigh 10lbs and has to strapped to you entire lower leg.

Mine is about 4 inches and fits in a pouch on my waisband.
