I had PADI dive insurance. I did two 130 foot dives in three hours and go bent. Came home and tried to call the emergency number for PADI. I got some operator who said she would gladly arrange transortaion to chamber if I knew of one. I aksed he about treament, symptoms, etc. She said = call the office. I called the office, the answering machine said, the office is currently closed, please call back during normal business hours.

I called DAN, they hooked me up with a chamber and I talked with a doctor too! I cancelled by PADI insurance, it looks good on paper, but if your messed up, do you really want to wait till Monday to talk to some insurance agent who has never dove? I don't think so.

It's not even a fair comparison. DAN is Divers working for and with Divers...and PADI is Pay Another Dollar Idiot. Sure PADI si $5.00 cheaper, but what is your life worth???
