if you go before may 1st you can stay in the various cheap motels in palau ($30.00)and take the day boats out without gettin your ass kicked by the weather. the weather starts gettin nasty like clock-work on may 1st. with a livaboard you'll be able to hit all the good spots regardless of the weather. go in march or april if you can.
