I, for one, appreciate that every crewmember I've ever had the pleasure of encountering on a swim platform has willingly taken my ditchable weight pockets. Removing them and handing them up before I ascend the stairs helps protect my creaking aging knees.

Last week someone here said they wouldn't do it while crewing because they don't want to be the one to have to retrieve them off the bottom should they fall back into the water. I assure you, if my weight pocket fell I'd be the one to go down and get it... after someone lends me some weight!

Thanks to all the crew members who have willingly taken my weights for me. My knees and I thank you.
