You saw my post where I was asked a similar question was referenced. After some debating, I've decided to wait and get an SLR, specifically the Canan Digital Rebel EX. If there's one thing I've learned about diving for me, it's that I'll keep upgraiding until I get what I really want! This seems like one of those times (and potentially expensive times), so instead of getting the 8000DX and still thinking about what a better camera might hold for me, I'll wait and start with a better rig. Just my 2 cents.
