When you hunt bugs:
If it looks short ---> it's short
If it looks borderline ---> it's short
If you are not sure ---> it's short
If you think it's just legal it's probably short - measure it
If it looks legal --> measure it
If it's body is bigger around than a Foster's fat beer can --> it's legal.


The bottom line is unless the bug is very large ... always measure it before you bag it!

I'm sorry you got popped, but perhaps you and others will learn from your lesson. Good luck in court, and please only bag legal bugs in the future.
