I've been on many GE trips to SBI. Once we drove all the way out there only to find the conditions absolutely undivable and had to drive back to Catalina. Some of the divers complained that we wasted time and should have stopped a Catalina instead. If we had stopped at Catalina there's no doubt that the same people would have complained that the captain didn't even try to make SBI. It seems that some people (Jeff) whine just to be heard.

No body can accurately predict what the conditions will be like at a remote destination. I am more than willing to let a veteran captain like the captain of the GE use his experience to call the shots.
