Odon did a powerful video presentation about Cozumel during the Thanksgiving week in 2005 only 3 to 4 weeks after the hurricane.

Everything underwater was 'sandy' landscaped with 'NO CURRENT'.
That must have been strange for a local that 'always' has current.

We got to see that some land structures survived better than others. The more modern and updated the more gutted and ripped up they appeared. The more 'local' established structures like one story and a bit away from the beach faired much better.

To see Scuba Club with all of the beach front massive concrete structures gone was just amazing. Odon said these structures were 'moved' a good ways away from the beach.

Odon's video speaks volumes as to the diving community to rebound. In just a few weeks, cuba Club was up and running with a 1/2 resort capacity. And they were ready for more...
